Emerging Arts Leaders DC (EALDC) is a volunteer-led initiative that provides professional development, networking, and information relevant to emerging arts professionals in the metropolitan Washington, DC area. Monthly events are intended to offer regular peer networking and provide access to learning that in turn strengthens the local arts sector.

EALDC is a part of the national Emerging Leaders Network, a program developed by Americans for the Arts. Americans for the Arts defines emerging arts professionals as either being in the first five years of their arts career, or being under the age of 36. While EALDC programs are specifically designed for the emerging professional demographic, we welcome the participation of all ages and experience levels.

EALDC cultivates and empowers the next generation of dynamic arts managers through professional development and networking opportunities in the National Capital Region.

EALDC envisions a thriving creative community in which emerging leaders are essential to the enrichment and sustainability of the arts.

Creativity - artistry, innovation, exploration
Curiosity - mentorship, knowledge, training
Community - unity, diversity, inclusion

Emerging Arts Leaders DC (EALDC) is a part of the national Emerging Leaders Network, developed by Americans for the Arts, and is fiscally sponsored by Fractured Atlas.
